L-Plate on the fridge. Previous tenant must have been a learner eater.

Exactly! Large rooms, good location, nice exterior. I can see past decor if the potential is there.

Not so much about funny places to rent, but what is with some of the photos that people put up on websites like daft?

I mean, you're a person whose job is advertising properties for people to rent, and you go and take the worst pictures. Close-up photos of a floor, and one of a lake or mountain or something. Even after looking at the photos, people will have no idea what the place is like.

I always thought it was so the property would show up in searches that specified 'photos only'. Might be a bit short-term thinking if they're sh*tholes, but the more people that view a property, the more chance that someone will take it (is the reasoning, I would think).

I hate when there's just one photo and it's of the street that the house is on. Pointless and annoying.

No no, don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of having photos. I might not have made that clear. But even with ads that are placed by agencies (as opposed to individuals), in a set of...say 8 photos, there will be one or two where I think, "How on earth did you decide that that was a good photo to upload?"

Ah, right, gotcha, sorry misread. Yeah, I'm planning on moving in the next couple of months and have seen a good few of them. Very ... perplexing.

The crying chair is cliched at this stage, every dump has one. The noose gives you a viable opportunity to end your misery.

Interesting. I never realised Michael Hutchence owned a house in Ireland. Presumably the celeb factor accounts for them not decorating since.
