    Which reminds me of:

Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that?
Hammocks! Homer, there's four places. There's the Hammock Hut,
    that's on third.
    Homer: Uh-huh.
Hank: There's Hammocks-R-Us, that's on third too. You got
    Put-Your-Butt-There?
    Homer: Mm-Hmm.
Hank: That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot... Matter of fact,
they're all in the same complex; it's the hammock complex on
    third.
    Homer: Oh, the hammock district.
    Hank: That's right.

It's a small shop which opened just before xmas (I think) on Grand Parade, next to the Savoy. I was in there and they only seem to sell those woolly snow flake type hats with the tassels on them. I can't imagine the shop being there for too long.

I hear they are planning on branching out into wacky gloves also.

Isn't it a door or two down from the old Capitol Cineplex cinema?

Some of the dressier men's clothing shops have trilbies in too.

Story goes that that whole scene was improvised.

There's a men's clothes shop near the top of Oliver Plunkett St. on the left as you're walking towards Grand Parade. I can't remember the name of it, but they have a decent selection of hats. You should be able to recognise them from all the denim in the window.

    Debenams have some.
Friend bought one there a month back, not cheap though, €48 or something I think!
And ya Pennys have had cheap ones from time to time, got one there when I was going as a Gangster at halloween a few years back :D
