    Hey all,

    Washing machine decided to die, bearings gone. Owes us nothing having given 15 years of family level service to a worthy cause :), would love to repair it but seems to be nigh-on impossible for a good price so considering replacement.

    Need a good machine, good load capacity, no fancy electronics (to go wrong), any suggestions on what / where ? Currys have one for €200 or thereabouts.

    Also, do most people take the other one away? Would be V.handy...

    Give Argos a look, they actually have a good selection. Your paying into the Producer Recycling Fund in the price (PRF) so there obligated to bring your old machine on delivery of new one as far as I know. check before you buy just to be sure.

    The 6th one down on the page I linked to above is not available for home delivery for some reason:confused:.

    was it the nordmende machine at 289 you were referring to?:confused:
