Monument on Mount Misery.

    How about we erect a huge statue or sculpture on mount Misery?

    Something iconic that people would come to see. And while we're at it, we could develope a beautiful park area up there - it's bigger than you think. The view of the city and river is fabulous up there.

    So what would you suggest for a monument. Serious suggestions only please, but i suppose I'll get a few "smart" (childish) ones:(

    How about a Super Happy Fun Slide.

    It would go from Mt Misery to the quay. It would greatly shorten travel times for Kilkenny commuters, reduce the need for a car, save carbon emissions, and reduce traffic congestion.

    Does this count as a childish suggestion?

    we already have a monument and sign of the times we,re in not so far from mount misery its called "the ard ri"
