Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have just tried "SPINeRVALS 8.0 - Recovery and Technique" and while it is a great workout it is tough going for a newcomer.
Has anyone got any suggestions for good video tuition DVD's etc.
I have to add that the 45 minutes flew in but I am wrecked so I dont think I would be able to do a session like that every day.

You're not supposed to do hard intervals every day!

Agreed, but the title of the DVD is "Recovery and Technique" Its my first one so I dont know what the options are, but I thought this one would be on the lower end of the effort scale.

Sorry, I only say the 'spinervals' bit and missed the rest of the title!

If you really are a complete newcomer then I probably wouldn't bother with the structured stuff for a while. Just work on building up some base fitness first: put on some decent tunes and just turn the pedals for an hour, keeping to 75-80% of your max heartrate (legal disclaimer: this assumes that your doctor has said that it is safe for you to exercise in this way). You shouldn't feel completely wrecked after this. A big cooling fan blowing at you is also vital when using a turbo.
