Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm getting a bike through work using the bike2work scheme. I'll be using the bike for long distance, i don't want a mountain bike or a trek. I've set myself a budget between €700 & €800.

Can anyone recommend a bike i should be looking for or what i should look to get?

I had a quick look online and came accross this, a Road Cruiser.

Forgetting the price, is this a good make and reliable?

Yes to the first question. Can't reliably answer the second from experience or anecdote, though I'd be surprised if Giant produced a pig. My advice would be to go to a reliable local bike shop on a quiet day. Most will take the time to explain options and what best fits your requirements, budget, build etc.
