Does anyone know where I can get home help stuff for around the house? After days of ringing around I bought stuff online from Physio Needs in Ballsbridge and after 11 days of waiting (the website says 48 hours delivery) the stuff never arrived. When I rang them and they kept telling me that they would track the products and on the day my mother was getting out of hospital they said they the would order it and get it in 3 days, which clearly means that they had never ordered it in the first place. Does anyone know a shop in Dublin that I can go in and pick this stuff up because I dont want the same problems again. Thanks!

Well I'm not sure what in particular you're looking for, but there's a place on talbot street that does some medical equipment, I think it's Murray's Medical Equipment.

Just looked at it on google maps, the window says orthopedics, mobility aids, backcare, bathroom aids and sports injury.

Although I've never ordered a delivery from them, I use THESE SUPPLIERS IN IRISH TOWN all the time.

But like I've said, I don't get deliveries from them.

Hi Partygal1!!! I represent Physio Needs online!

Firstly I'm sorry that your mother had to attend hospital.

Your item arrived into stock first thing this morning! If you are still stuck and require your item please contact us by phone and as a gesture of goodwill we will offer you free delivery.

Now I have to defend ourselves here! Most items are delivered the next day, However with many thousands of products, coming from many countries, there will be exceptions. Our home page stipulates that some orders may take 7 - 10 days (as was the case this time).

Here is what is written exactly as it appears on our home page:
Delivery anywhere in Ireland, is usually within 48 hrs of receipt of your order, other countries may take longer.
A flat rate of €8.00 is charged for post and packing no matter how small or large your order is (however this may be reviewed for orders outside of Ireland depending on the country and consignment size, we will contact you directly if the need arises).
All prices include VAT where applicable and NO extra credit card fees are added.
In the case of some specialist items or if your item happens to not be in stock then your order should not take longer than approx 10 working days to arrive.

The order in question was made on the 31st January, it is now the 10th February and the order is here. I'm afraid there must of been some breakdown in communication, as cleary the goods were ordered and are now here.
