Cheap flights to QLD

Can any one recommend cheap flights to QLD, heading there in May for about 3-4 weeks to check the place out and try to get sponsorship, i have checked out skyscanner and the cheapest they have is about 900 euro return which i tought is a bit on the dear side.

Is that for a return flight? Sounds about right to be honest, I paid something similar for a return flight in the other direction this time last year.
