I just placed it down on a flatbed scanner set for medium format film and hoped for the best! Nothing too exciting!

Hi, here's some photo's I took when myself and MiNdGaM3 went up the Galtees before Christmas. (He posted some pics earlier on.) (Mods: I'm pretty sure the longest side is 800pixels, sorry if it isn't)

This one was taken on Galtee Beag looking across onto Galtee Mor.


This one was taken a few hours later when we were heading back up Galtee Beag from the north side after coming down Galtee Mor. We also stood underneath that frozen icicle on the cliff


These two, and the album below, were taken on a Sony DSC-W350.

Hi Condra,

It was shot using a Nikon D300 with 50mm f/1.4 attached (equivalent to about 75mm on a full frame camera). ISO200, f/10 @ 1/200th. There's a 60cm square softbox up and slightly to the right of the model with a Bowens 500w head firing through it at about 1/16th power. There's also a large silver reflector just below the shot bouncing a bit of light under her chin - it's my attempt at butterfly lighting, a fairly standard beauty lighting scheme. There's also a strobe on the back wall although I'm not sure if it's contributing much. I've done a small tidy up in Photoshop and a bit of levels and selective colour tweaking etc in Lightroom.

Firstly my comment was in jest - secondly it wasnt i that implied you needed anyones "permission"....so rolly eyes right back at ya :-p I had assumed the permit comment was reference to the criticism levelled in past at people disturbing swans in their natural habitat some people got pretty uppity about AR and his cygnets iirc ... Far be it for me to criticise what people want to shoot.... I'm more a heron man myself heh heh
