Broadband dropping connection

I have the up to 24 Mbit package with eircom. I have tried 2 adsl2+ modems and they both connect at 15 Mbit, which is fine. However I drop connection at least once an hour. If i use my old modem with no adsl2 support it never drops. What are my options? I can't imagine eircom are great at improving the quality of a…
