Sprig Studio is a custom designed, digital recording studio on the Dublin Rd Galway.
Acoustically treated to high standards in order to provide a perfectly flat response sound,
the studio is based around a live tracking space and a seperate vocal booth.
It has a well designed control room, a fantastic conservatory chill space and a nice garden.
All the rooms, which are all flooded with natural light, have been decorated by a colour therapist so as to provide a cosy, fresh and welcoming feel, while at the same time allowing our clients to feel free to express their creativity in a relaxed and artistic way.

With rates from as little as €80 per day on block bookings ya just can afford to not check us out!

Sprig, I applaud your enthusiasm but your claim "Acoustically treated to high standards in order to provide a perfectly flat response sound" freaks me out a little (especially posting on a forum full of sound engineers).

You seem to be monitoring out of a corner. Not good.

Bring up a sine wave round 80 Hz on Logic & play it into your room. Have a walk round the room & see how the volume level changes, especially in the corners of the room. Try it for different frequencies & see how flat your room actually is.

As I say, I like your enthusiasm but I've been recording for 17 years. I've spent thousands of hours trying to learn the craft & tens of thousands of euro on gear. I've come to know that the more I learn about it, the less I know.

One thing I do know is, you could spend a couple of hundred grand purpose designing & building a mixing room & still not be able to make your claim.

Hey Sprig my name is Dav I work for the Paul Brewer school of english and correction perfection, however I am in the marketing department so my fine is for your lack of attention to detail in your text to the consumer as opposed to this being a grammar or linguistic issue of some sort.

You have been herby fined €16 for your poor marketing line and I refer to line:

Now as the owner of the most commerical porn studio in the world I hereby correct you.

    The line should read:
With rates from as little as €80 per day on block bookings ya just can not afford to not check us out!

Best of luck with the new studio it sounds really nice I hope you don't reject this fine as you deserve it.
