importing from germany

have imported a few rifles and pistols from northern Ireland in the past ,2years ago was the last time I did it,is the procedure the same for Germany.
ie,get serial number apply for licence,when licence is granted get article 7 from super & import from DOJ.has there been any changes in procedures,thanks in advance

Same procedure. I think its only the states that it changes, and you're subject to tax/duties, etc.

Yes it's still the same, I just completed a purchase from germany since christmas, It was processed a lot quicker this time 6 weeks (last time was in 2005 took 9 months) oh yeah and a lot cheaper than here:D:D

this is the one i dealt with for 5 different firearms http://www.triebel.de/ I found them dead straight to deal with very helpful no bull**** and very efficient. I always check there first when going to buy a new gun, most time they can thrash the irish prices I'd completely recommend them

Tribel is the company that I'm dealing with, so far they have been great,very quick response's by email to my questions.also you have frankonia which is good also.what other companies are there in Germany willing to export to individuals

I have imported a few rifles from Germany in the past years. In one case I had an old hand me down rifle sent via the local gun shop, they didn't even charge for the service. Might take several weeks until all paperwork is done.
