    Bamboozle,

that system from memory is not like a conventional Sub / Sat system and all the inputs go via the Subwoofer and are then fed out via an internal crossover in the Subwoofer to the individual satellites - there is no actual line level input on the Bose Acoustimass 6 Subwoofer which is how ALL conventional AV receivers operate.

However the Denon AVR1311 or the Yamaha RXV367 at £179.95 will fit the bill - I would go for the Denon personally (it is slightly more expensive at £199.95) here is a link to the specs: http://denon.co.uk/uk/product/pages/Product-Detail.aspx?Catid=83742842-dc75-4090-b169-b916700fd158&SubId=43eadffa-05fc-430a-a586-b5137428cc5f&ProductId=04c11b6e-f41b-42a1-8159-c648ccb177cc

    At £199.95 / €239.99 it's a really cracking product for the money..

    Hi John,

thanks for getting back to me, to be honest i dont really understand what you are saying above about the line level input into the subwoofer.
my understanding was that the subwoofer would link with the receiver which would in turn hook up with dvd player, is this not correct?

apologies but i'm a technophone, i've had the system for the last 2 years without hooking it up!

    thanks,

    Bam.

    Hi Brian.

Good to talk to you today.

Those bits left for you today and will be with you on Monday.

If you have any problems wiring up etc give me a bell and I'll do my best to help, although I'm not a Bose expert as you are well aware !
