    Id introduce a law to take them away, lock them in a room with no contact from the outside world, give them 3 square meals a day for afew months until they are clean. Then find them a job and give them support to stay clean. Yup, that's whats id do.

    Despite the fact that they are parasitic and annoying presences in their own communities, I'd remove drug distribution from the hands of criminals, try increase funding for rehabilitation and education of drug addicts and attempt to address the generational neglect that can often leads to drug abuse

    These addicts are at it every weekend. Vomiting and urinating all over the city, beating each other up and clogging our A&E.
    Bring back the death penalty, i say.

    Actually Afganistan has quite a significant heroin problem with around 10% of the population addicted to opium.

    Thats why the Yanks and Brits want higher caliber weapons to put them down quicker as the current rounds don't have much of an effect unless they hit the heart, spine or brain with all the drugs in their system.
