    Where in the city can I find a place that sells knitted blankets for children?

    That looks like crochet to me.
    You could try a couple of the knitting shops: Stitch in Beaumont or This Is Knit in Powerscourt Townhouse centre....they probably won't sell them but might know where/who you could commission. I made one for friends in summer and it took a long long time!

    yeah, that crocheted not knitted.

    i think i have seen them in the liberties market, there is a lady where who knits and crochets.

    you will get them at craft markets; ebay and etsy

    its is easy enough to make if you have patience:)

    i have a family member who makes them, if you want i can ask her
