Blood Donation in IT Carlow?

I have been told by a nurse when I was giving blood recently in my local clinic that i can give blood in the Institute. Does anyone know if this is true? or when they operate etc.? Just if I could give blood without travelling home it would be great. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They come around twice a year if I remember correctly, you can check the blood transfusion website for the dates they'll be in IT Carlow again
