Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leg locks are quite common these days in bjj competitions. Watch some black belt fights from the mundials/adcc and you will see a lot of toeholds/ kneebars/ straight footlocks. Its true years ago the Brazilians frowned on them and you would get booed if you attempted one in a comp but that has changed now. The reaping the knee rule was brought in for safety reasons, not to stop foreigners getting an advantage over a Brazilian. I had some serious damage done to my knee few years ago in Eddie Bravos gym when a guy slapped on a heel hook very quickly in and twisted it. There was no chance for me to tap before the damage was done=six months physio!!!
