Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My brother is a US resident and I'm looking to buy a canon 60d,body only.
Huge price difference between here and there,so if I got him to purchase it over there and send it to me marked as a gift, will it get thru ok?
Know it will have a US warranty and will need an adaptor for the charger.
    Anyone else done this?

    Sorry, the charter addresses this.
    Tax & Customs

In regards to taxes, and importing gear from abroad, no discussing how to get your camera/camera gear into Ireland tax free...

It is illegal, and I don't particularly want Boards.ie being named for giving out info on anyone that will mark down items etc etc.

If I see any more threads asking how to get gear into Ireland without paying tax, I'll lock them.
