Apologies for this but its melting my head. I've a Sony DCR DVD310 camcorder and use DVD RW discs. I have transferred the data from the disc to my PC and now want to delete the files on the disc to start over and I can't. I've tried the delete function on both finalised and unfinalised discs and get the same error message…

I've tried the delete function on both finalised and unfinalised discs and get the same error message - "only the last scene just recorded can be deleted in VIDEO mode".

What's most galling is that I've cleared disc's before but can't remember how and can't find it in the guide or google. What am I doing wrong?
