This seems to have come from nowhere, first Nikki Sixx said there was no way that Motley Crue and the New York Dolls would be likely to tour together.

Then in an interview with Australian journalist/guitarist Joe Matera, New York Dolls axeman Sylvain Sylvan revealed that they would tour, and that it would happen this Summer in the US on a 40 date tour. Rumours are also abound that Motley Crue will perform at the Grammy's this month....

Nikki Sixx's latest comment on Twitter is

Haven't been to the Grammy's in years.Looking forward to it this weekend
