Waste oil disposal in sligo town?

    Does anyone know where one can properly dispose of old oil from a car service in sligo town? Just whatevers in my car engine couple of litres or so.

    Most of the garages who do servicing would probably take it for a couple of Euro or maybe for nought if you know them at all.

    And the recycling centre in Tubbercurry has a tank for it out there.
    It's €4 to visit the site and drop off recyclables, including used motor oil.

    Some garages down my way have waste oil burners to heat them so ask around and they'll take it off you for nought
