Thanks for the replies in relation to BB and CC creams. I am planning on buying the IT Cosmetics one while I'm away. I was really just looking for a cheap enough one to do me while I'm away. Will have a look at the Note and LRP ones.

Maybelline have a "dupe" for the IT CC cream that might be worth a look.
    It has spf 50 too

I have this and I love it! Very similar IMO. I'd find it very hard to justify going back to the it cosmetics cc cream now.

Mind me asking what's the name of the Maybelline CC cream or got a link to it?

    Curious to try this out!

Ah brilliant, thank you! I was getting results for BB creams and dream mattes, so that's perfect, thank you.

Looks great, I must try it out!

I used to love the Maybelline BB cream for casual summer days before they discontinued it so I'll deffo be giving this a go too!

The Rimmel BB Cream is great, it says 9 benefits, enjoying it for low-key makeup days and it was about €8 in Boots. It mattifies but is still glowy, has a little coverage, has some SPF. Good for looking like I've no makeup on.

I've just ordered the Australian Gold Botanical facial sunscreen after seeing it recommended by Buzzfeed the other week. It's SPF50, slightly tinted, mattifying and pore blurring. I'm going to Cancun for two weeks in July and it would be lovely not to look like a great, big, shiny melon-head for a change.

€25.00 from Australian Gold's Irish site but $11.99 on Amazon including delivery :D

Apparently the Note cosmetics CC cream is good and is reasonably priced.
I recently bought the It Cosmetics CC cream recently and I love it. I think it cost around €39 in Arnotts.

The It Cosmetics CC Cream broke my skin out quite badly - I do have sensitive skin in the main however, so wouldn't recommend if you are prone to sensitivity. It has good coverage, so see if you can try before you buy.

Bought the Stila Perfect Me/Perfect Hue pallete in medium/tan yesterday based on a couple of recommendations on another post. I've been shopping the stash for so long, I'm literally dribbling with excitement at having something new and shiny!
Now that I've broken the seal I also purchased the Pixi Beautiful Face pallete in English Rose from Lookfantastic. Colours of pinks and lilacs so between the 2 pallettes I should have plenty of options.
Lookfantastic were doing 3 for 2 on Pixi products so I bought the Pixi/Caroline Hirons double cleanse and the gel eye patches. I've read good reviews on both. I've used the Glow tonic, Glow mud cleanser and Glow mud mask before and my chin got a bit red and spotty from the tonic so I'm hoping that these don't break me out.

It's honestly so pretty! I just keep opening it and peeking inside.

I really shouldn’t be buying makeup at the moment but I had a voucher for BTs so I treated myself to the Nars Sheerglow foundation and some concealer. I’ve only tried them both once but I really like them so far!

I also got the Moroccan Oil Treatment after hearing rave reviews from one of my friends. Again I’ve only used it twice so far, on damp hair before drying it and my hair feels so soft after it!

    Few purchases lately.

I love setting spray and used the Smash box one, said I'd try the elf one. Meh I don't like the smell. It's chemically or something. Also it's only marginal in helping my make up stay. I'll use it and then go back to the smashbox one.

Batiste dry shampoo. I used the lush one before and also just talc but I love the Batiste natural one. From an environmental perspective the lush one is better but it's messy and I feel the Batiste less when I touch my hair.

Bare minerals barepro. I've used bareminerals powder foundation before and I love the BAREPRO. Long lasting and not overly drying. I've dehydrated skin with a slightly oily t zone and spots on my jaw line.

The ordinary glycolic toner and salycalic acid. Game changer for spots. I get large ones on my jaw line and the salycalic acid is amazing. I just love it. (I'm on my second bottle). I just remembered I forgot that purchase in the shop the stash :o

I love the sound of the stila pallette. I want a nice smokey eye pallette for blue eyes. My urban decay ones are very colourful and I want a more neutral one. May check it out.

I love the MAC BB Cream, and there's a decent enough shade range too which I find can be a downfall in BB creams. It's €32.50 so a little of the expensive side. SPF 35.

    .

I take this back, my colour is out of stock everywhere and is possibly discontinued. If it is discontinued I'll be fairly pissed as I've been to three shops to get it and staff just told me it's out of stock.

Can anyone recommend a good facial tanner? I have just been using my body tan but it doesn't really stand up to more than two or so days of make-up removal/skincare regime and I'm wondering if a face-specific one might fare better.

Tanning drops can be great, if you add them to your moisturiser every night, you can keep your regular skin care regime.

I have the clairins ones which are nice and easy to use, I know a lot of brands do them too.

I’ve not used myself yet but the Suzanne Jackson one seems to get good reviews. Has anyone here used? Or is it all hype? Was nearly tempted to buy it yesterday but my face Is more pigmented than my body so not sure it would help matters.

I got the Wonder Water because I hate bringing my regular tan up to my face - I always find my face looks much darker than my chest even with just the residue on the mitt. I got the light-medium shade.

The first time I applied it, I spritzed it about twice over my face and blended it over face with a flat top kabuki - noticed no change. The next night I sprayed it about 6/7 times, blended with kabuki and i got a lovely even light golden colour. No breakouts or congestion. My face fades faster than the rest of me so this is great to be able to apply. I'm impressed.

I bought the Nars Ignited eyeshadow palette recently. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but it looks gorgeous!
The other half is abroad and has picked me up a few bits in Sephora so looking forward to seeing what he’s got!

I'm just hear to rave about Revolution again. :o

This week's purchase was a double-ended black eyeliner, it's kohl pencil one end and liquid pen the other. "Awesome Dual Eyeliner Line And Flick."

Both are excellent. I usually don't bother with liquid liner but this pen makes it easy to apply, even I can manage to get it on in a straight line with no blotches. I always use pencil liner every day and this is the best I've used in a long time, very black and sharp and really lasts.

In fact the only complaint I have about this product is that it lasts so well it's a little difficult to remove - to be honest I don't even really see that as a fault, as it lasts all day with no need for reapplication.

Only cost around a fiver, I think it comes in other colours too.

I had a La Prairie facial today and my skin feels amazing now. So firm, bright, glowy and taut without being tight and uncomfortable. Came out thinking that I was going to for sure be dumping all my skincare and switching to this brand instead! The facialist recommended the serum to me so i looked it up online... €514 for a 50ml bottle :o eh I think I’ll stick my own stuff thanks :D

I don’t actually know :o my partner won a trip to Rome in work so his company have covered the bills for everything. I had the facial done in the spa in our hotel. We had a choice of activities and I chose the facial because I knew I would never justify paying for it with my own money :D:o

I am! I was dreading putting make up on the evening and ruining it but it looks amazing! I’d say I used half the amount of product than usual too! There was a formal dinner this evening (andrea bocelli was the after dinner entertainment :O) so i couldn’t NOT go out!

Any vacancies in your partner's company? Dept of ed just doesn't match up!

Bought the Ren Summer Edit kit, I missed out on the Spring one and been dying to try Ren for ages.

I actually am nearly out of my Aldi hot cloth cleanser, spf and Inkey List moisturiser, and the kit has full sizes of all 3 so the timing is perfect. So excited to try it out :D
