Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes you are stuck (for 12 months) unless its within the cooling off period.

you can downgrade to the cheapest sub (think its ~€23 at the mo)

What would happen if you just stopped your standing order to Sky before the twelve months is up.

That would be a very silly idea, just search the threads to see why, ring them up and tell them you've lost your job or are emigrating, see what their response is.

They will pursue you for the remainder of your contract.

What would any company do if you stopped paying in the middle of a contract?

I thought the contract was for the sky equipment and that they would just get back their equipment. Obviously not

Nah, the equipment is yours but you have to stay with them for the duration of the contract, which is actually 13 months (12 minimum term and 30days notice to cancel).
If you were to stop paying them, after cutting off your viewing and sending out a few reminders, they'll pass on the remaining balance to a debt collection agency.

No, that's wrong, you're within your rights and able to cancel your contract 30 days before the 12 months is up thereby still fulfilling your 12 month contract.
