I like that graphic Jason, groovy stuff. Massive game for the Gunners, Wolves home should be straight forward enough but we're Arsenal and we dont do things that way. Hoping we get at them early and put some chances away. Ideal scenario is a draw in the 3rd city derby and a comfortable win for l'Arse.

Ithink they have all the games. £6 for 2 months is pretty good value too!

Bought the 2 month sub there; if the quality is anything like the United - Citeh match then it's daycent value!

Djourou will be rested today you'd have to imagine.

Which means 90 minutes of nerves every time Wolves get in our half...

Ya, you'd imagine that alright, have a sneaky feeling he'll start though.. Not sure if I want him to or not though..

After wenger said, 'there is no barcelona match. We have worked so hard on the league, it is all about wolves' I'd be pretty certain djourou will start. Fact is, we probably will get beat by barcelona, so it would be a shame to throw the league away at the same time.

Djourou and song both start. team as in the OP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Wilshere, Song, Fabregas, Walcott, Arshavin, Van Persie

    Very strong team.

I'd be absolutely delighted with a scrappy 1-0 and no injuries.

Van Persie to get injured and miss the rest of season?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,043 ✭✭✭✭L'prof

We need a clean sheet today and Djourou is key to that. If he's ready, I want him to play. I can't see us getting past Barca, but as long as JD is ready, I'd start him today. They don't make them like they used to, that's for sure!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,094 ✭✭✭Joeyjoejoe43

With the swiss lad starting centre half, i'll go 2-0, with the 2nd coming late on and Van P getting at least one of them..

You can be sure that Wenger would have rested one or 2 first teamers before a big European game in the past. This is a real change imo.

Maybe he's planning to get a good lead and then make a couple of subs

Lucky RVP's leg wasnt planted in the ground there, horrible tackle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

Never good when you see van Persie going down, thankfully it was a kick rather than his leg or ankle twisting.

    RVP 2-0 thats that (probably!)
