Eboué should not be allowed past the half way line. His diving is getting on my nerves now also.

I would say whip Song off stick Wilshere in the hole . IF only Jack hasn't looked so good when he's gone forward on the counter tonight.

RVP has had two good chances from areas he usually slots them away from.

    Good game so far however.

They have every right to laud them, they are the greatest football team ever.

They always go on about them tho, even 10 years ago when Madrid dominated, now it's ten times worse, which is a shame cos they are the best, but for me I can't see it , I'm not allowed to.

Its like Nazi germany here all the propaganda the CONSTANT bombardment
of this f*cking team on my senses ..... I mean in Madrid at least there is a lot of Athletico fans to balance it ... here NO ONE follows RCD Espanyol...

How many Barcelona cliches are going to be used on RTE tonight?

Nearly as many as ITV use possibly.

I think Arsenal can feel a little dissapointed they are not on terms, a couple of lovely sweeping attacks ending just short of a goal, the defence is another matter.

Lads everyone cut it out. I'd rather enjoy this than spend the second half infracting people.

Mister Men I'm looking at you and your low level trolling in particular.

Mister men = BERBA but 100 times worse.

Arsenal doing okay, they need to take there chances! RVP should have buried that one.

Whip Song off Wenger. We won't finish with 11 otherwise.
I wish Wenger was the kind of person who'd be sensible like that.

He did fall very slowly but he was pushed to be fair.
He still dived and dived earlier and the ref saw it and waved play on. I'm really sick of his crap.

First time seeing Arsenal play this season. People were saying beforehand that they're a much better side than the one that faced Barca last year but tbh I still think they all look a bit clueless out there. Can't believe that Song guy still gets a game for them (or maybe he doesn't and this is a rare appearance).

Can see this finishing 0-3 if Barcelona are bothered.

tbf Song has been one of our best performers this season. He's just having a mare because of that early yellow so he has to be ultra cautious now.

Where have you been the entire rest of the season? Song has came on leaps and bounds, though he's been muck tonight

To stop some crap talk and trolling, would it be an idea to disable the quote option in match threads?

Barca have what they came for - the all important away goal.

Arsenal should count themselves lucky with the Messi goal.

Looked a ropey offside and looked Djourou put his hand on it also.

That said Arsenal havent been bad at all - though they seemed to drop a level after 20mins.

Game is far from over - Arsenal pressing has been better than last season.

I don't think we have that luxury though. Song has to stay on because Wenger wasn't sensible enough to invest in decent cover! He better get the cash out in time for next years ACN!!!

Bright start from Arsenal. If they play it through the channels like that they might get a bit of joy.

RTE audio is at least a second ahead. That's fairly poor in this day and age.

  • Registered Users Posts: 645 ✭✭✭dagdha

Commentary is about a second ahead of play.

I agree completely. I don't think you're trolling, you're just having a meltdown seeing other PL teams in the CL knockout stages. Must be tough, especially when your last happy memory of your team in the CL is a scrappy win over Debrecen.

    ;)

Barca ya. Arsenal no. The gunners are misplacing passes all game. They think they place good football but don't have to players to do it.

Like spurs and Utd are playing more attractive attacking football by them all season
