Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would anyone have any recommendations for database software which would modify a remotely hosted database ?

I have a hosting account with access to mysql databases and phpmyadmin etc but what I am looking for is control panel type software which would allow me to create / update and modify a database hosted on a website.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've been putting a few together so that my clients can upload their own stuff to their websites.. i.e. and stop blaming me for their websites not being updated :-)... Most web servers are LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) cos all that software is free for the hosting company... that is why MySQL is so popular..

You can actually enter information using PHPMyAdmin, but it is cumbersome and not specifically optimised for data entry.. I usually create HTML forms to prompt the user for the information and then use PHP scripts to take that information and put it in to the MySQL database...
