    Some good deals on ipod touch 1st generations on ebay. Anybody got any opinions on these, how does it compare to newer generations?

    No bluetooth audio, no speaker, no camera, slightly thicker, slightly more compatible with charging docks.

    Battery might be getting on a bit, slightly less speed, can only be updated to version 3 I think. No multitasking.

    Still lovely device

    i have one. still. though i havent used it in years. i hang on to all my old players.

    classic machine though, my only gripe was using itunes software. its not for me.
