    Gormley doesn't deserve a word.

I'm presuming RTE doesn't have to give the same time to Gormley and Adams.

Beware of some posters on here talking up Michael Martin . They are only FF heads .

    Enda doing well

    Agree with you ..

Although I'm sure there are loads of party heads here :)

    Nicely pointed out by Adams.

Poor ould Gormley and Adams are certainly the spare parts here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

    This isn't a debate.

Adams: "I'm glad you got back to me Pat." It's all Enda, Eamon, Micheal.

Gilmore making a strong statement that Labour won't repossess houses in recession.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 761 ✭✭✭dedon

Hear, this is seriously dreadful programme. If I tried I couldn't make the format worse.

What would you have done so? Put a load of FF heads in there to talk up Michael Martin?

Its a debate - everyone should be given the chance.

In fairness, they did it well in the British BBC debate: Dimblebey called on the audience member, they smartly read out their pre-approved concise question, and sat down. I thought it was nice as it gave a personal touch to the debate, without the audience time wasting we will no doubt be seeing a lot tonight on Frontline.

You forget that the BBC have some degree of professionalism. ;)

    :D
that made me laugh, that shows you how serious this debate is if we are only interested in Endas underwear !!!

Red is a very positive colour which is used to express confidence

I wish Micheal Martin wasn't in FF, I'd feel a lot less guilty then.

Makes me sick looking at a Fianna Failer. The nerve of Martin to stand there.

He should be booed and egged up there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,517 ✭✭✭axer

    Nice come back by Adams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

Martin was too cute for Adams . .

Adams doesnt have a clue what hes talking about ! !

Worst Debate format ever. Very hard to get any real discussion. Everyone is failing with this except Enda - as he gets to keep quiet and just read the rehearsed line.

Yeah, let the banks do nothing but pay themselves bounus instead of giving risky loans to small businesses.

Lets get rid of toxix SF - when did they decide to recogonise the free state anyway?

I must say Enda is coming across very well. highly credible and authoritative!! Michael Martin sounds whiny....

Excellent. why? What is excellent about FF? They have destroyed our country.

Nothing excellent about FF at all. Shower of krooks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 31 lilbelter

Gormley isn't in touch with reality at all....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭Psychedelic

It feels like Adams is just there for comic relief.

i think they want to take the money from FTB's (via cuts or taxes) to help those in mortgage arrears.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

surely people can't accept Sinn Fein policies as legit, factually the figures do not ad up, that needs to be nipped in the bud once and for all FFS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,517 ✭✭✭axer

Does adams look like he needs to pi$$ badly?

    Yes yes yes . .

We all know the bank bailout was morally unsound but what was the alternative ? I am sure there possibly was one, but nobody on stage has offered it ! ! Does nobody else see the ridiculous nature of these kind of answers . .
