Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm traveling to Westport in a few months. If anyone knows some good locations for seascapes/landscapes I would be greatfull.

    Cheers!

Mayo is a photographers paradise for landscape photography.

If you have a car then I'd head towards Tourmakeady to the waterfall and Lough Mask. Head over the mountains towards Leenane. Through the Delphi Valley towards Louisburgh. Then along the sea to Westport passing Croagh Patrick along the way.

+1 An absolute paradise for landscape photography. Hundreds of seascapes & lakescapes too.

Hi.. I live in Mayo and do alot of landscape photography. There is no shortage of places to photograph. Miss Mayo is right, it's a landscape photographers paradise!

If you can make it up to as far as Achill I highly recommend doing so, turn left after Achill sound on the north Atlantic drive, some of the best and wildest scenery anywhere in Ireland.

Two of my friends enjoying the view:

This is just down the road:

Have a look at my flickr or website if you want to see more from Mayo, any question just ask :-)

Thanks guys for the great info. I will be traveling by car. It will be a family holiday yet I can't pass up the oppertunity to get some landscape/seascapes from the area. Hoping to get to achill also. The pictures are great, and I just can't wait to get out there now.

    Thanks again.
