    Hi all

Thinking of switching to UPC TV service. I have 30mb broadband and have had very few issues.

How are UPC with the TV service these days?

    Thanks

    John

    Hi John,

Broadband is top notch. Tv however - Disappointing hardware, interfaces performance etc. While they do have a good range of programmes, they do offer PVR function and HD boxes.

There is no sky sports HD, or movies etc. The EPG on the boxes is slow, very slow. The HD box remote feels clunky and tbh too long for the human hand. My box froze quite often and was no comparison to sky kit. Their cheaper generic SD boxes are outdated and cheap and suffer from all issues above.

All this said. They are cheaper than sky and offer similar programming and functionality. Money wise UPC wins, elsewhere they fall down a good bit.

    Love the Broadband though.
