Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello:)

Im an 19 year old with a 1 year old son. I really want to go back to education but I also really want to move out of my mothers house. There is no space and theres mice thats no place for a child.
If I get a full time job I cant go back to education, I want a career not a job. But if I go to college I can't afford to move out:(

I applied for a council house but I know the wait is like 8-10 years. I could apply for rent allowance but I don't know where that leaves me with college.
can anyone shine some light on my situation please?

I have searched and searched but the information out there is not to helpful.

Thank you in advance to all who answer.

You could get rent allowance and go back to college and get back to education allowance which would pay you as much as the payment your on now ! Just one word of advice money will be alot tighter and I mean ALOT tighter if you move out. My advice would be to enroll for a course you are interested in and stay at home while you are doing it that way you will probably get more support for your family! Best of luck with whatever you decide!
