Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a friend who would like free to air Satellite and Saorview Terrestrial Digital TV in her place. There is only one cable in her living room and the other room she wants to connect to. She's ok in the living room but would like free to air Satellite and Saorview Terrestrial Digital TV in the other room. She is in a development with a shared dish there is only one cable to each TV point but I'm told that they have the UHF Aerial coupled into the shared distribution system, so if she hooked up a Saorview receiver she can watch digital TV.

My question is, if she gets a combo box, or two boxes , one sat and one Saorview, how would i connect them to the one cable, would it be a simple type f splitter arrangement?

    thank you

If the sat and uhf are both present in the cable you could use a small diplexer like this http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/Satellite_UHF_combiner.html

    Hope this helps

I have a Saorview box and a freesat box both working with fine and now I want to use the RF out on these boxes to send through the signals from both to another TV via the cabling I currently have in my house to other TV point.

Would above unit work to combine these into on cable to go to the other room?
Would I need something else to un split them at the second TV point?

If I understand you correctly you are sending the two UHF outputs (RF outputs) from both boxes then all you need is a standard two way splitter and use it in reverse. Somethng like this would work http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/F_type_splitter.html . Nothing would ne needed at the other end just make sure the boxes are outputting on different UHF channels far apart.
