    in Bottle Banks ????

I was sitting in a car park this morning watching a lorry unload the contents of the bottle banks. What i observed was all the different "green glass only, clear glass only, etc" banks all being unloaded on top of each other!

What is the point of telling people to drop the glass in different banks if they are going to get mixed up when collected? A complete waste of time if you ask me.

Maybe the guy who designed the bottle banks has OCD.

OP, are you sure? I have seen these operate, and both the bank and the truck have a divider so bank A goes into partition A on the truck.

Full bottles are more interesting. Especially is there's alcohol in it.

I do love that thunderous, smashing sound they make when they're dropped into the truck. :pac:

What I find confusing is when you end up with a bottle that is green/brown tinted depending on how you hold it in the light.

It's called breen, as in "I have breen eyes".

I'm really confused after the party when I have to drop off the Malibu and Bombay Sapphire Gin bottles.
