Trekking in Meath Area

Hi there, Myself and the other half are going for a long wknd in Meath in the coming wks. Im eager to go trekking when we are there. My husband would be a complete beginner and im dying to get him on horseback and show him what i see in it :) any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thanks
