Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if travelling along m6 and wanting to get to ennis whats the best way to make transition from m6 to n18. Came off at loughrea and went onto gort the last day. Is this the best way or would I be better to go further on the m6???

The road from Loughrea to Gort is fairly crap so i would continue on to the oranmore/Limerick exit and go that way. Might add 10 mins to the journey depending on the time of day at most but the road is way better.

    What's your starting point?

BTW, requests like this are usually better made in Commuting and Transport.

Seconding that, dont drive between Loughrea and Gort, its awful. Go to Oranmore and drive down that way.

Starting in Dublin and going to Ennis via enfield

Don't mind bad roads, was on that road this week, not the worst in the world. As long as its the shortest time!!!

If you dont have to go via Enfield, you might think of going through Limerick instead? Do M50 - N/M7 - N/M18.

Serious amount of extra mileage there plus no DC from Oranmore-Gort for the price of 2 tolls. Feck that.

Use N66 instead. Roads bad but hardly awful bar the bridge at Kilchreest.

Id side with posters mentioning M7-Shannon Tunnel-Ennis though
