Hi all, Recently my g/f was involved in an accident in which the other driver accepted liability as have their insurance company. My question is, do the insurance companies pay out the cost of repairs to you or the mechanic? I thought they only paid out to the mechanic if they had a account with them so big dealers like…

Hi all,

I thought they only paid out to the mechanic if they had a account with them so big dealers like volkswagon garages or whatever.

you can ask them if they will pay out to you and see what they say. sometimes they may agree and sometimes they may not.
