Took wednesday offand had a great morning in town incl. an awesome massage - it hurt like hell though - so much tightness in so many areas!! So I was supposed to go the gym today but I am so tender I will take another day off rather than undo all the good work.

Still feel awful, thank goodness I'm not doing the marathon. If I infect the oh I'll never be forgiven!
So kids are off school for a week so it'll be home workouts once I'm feeling better. I have the Nike training club app so I might give that a go.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,934 ✭✭✭Dotcomdolly

After a whole week of no exercise I finally felt well enough. Kicked it off in style with a 5 mile run, longest I've run in ages, felt good.

Tried the Nike Training Club app on my phone - went for the first of the "Get Lean" workouts and selected "beginner- trains 4-5 times a month" - me bleedin hole it was beginner  - bloody hard work! but a decent workout, 240 cals burned in 30 mins.
