Don't suppose anyone has came accross a place that sells white Duct Tape? The traditional grey stuff is colour clashing with my doomsday device

You could tipex the back of the black tape, or cover it with masking tape (or white insulation tape)!!

I haven't seen white duck tape anywhere other than here.

Why is it called Duck Tape? Or is Duct Tape the proper name?

It started as Duck tape because the Yank military used it to seal boxes. The plastic repelled water like a duck.
I saw some today in the motor factors in the Tesco Shopping centre, or maybe it was slightly yellow.

edit, actually on second thought - it was electrical tape I saw.

Tripart on the Tuam road would be my first port of call (if I was in a boat)

    I'd try Amazon

Looks like they've got lots of pretty colours.

I *think* the last day I was in at the hardware shop on the corner opposite M&S (heading towards Eyre Sq Supermacs) they mentioned that they sold white duct tape. At the very least they sell it in a variety of colours.

I would try Woodie's at Wellpark, that's where I got some duct tape recently after having no luck at B&Q or Maplin (at both of which places someone tried to tell me that gaffa and duct/duck tape are the same thing). Dunno about colour, though.
