Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Streaming through Media Harddrive

    Hey guys,
Just bought an IOMEGA ScreenPlay Plus HD 1TB Media Player (Iomega Factory Outlet recommended on Bargain Alerts, €72 delivered) and its pretty class.

Does anyone know how i'd stream tv like RTE player etc... through the harddrive. At the moment I can only either plug it into the tv OR the Laptop.

I see that the Iomega ScreenPlay Director streams to tv. I'd be fairly decent at basic tech stuff and wonder is there some sort of program to download to stream off the laptop.

Its not possible. Its not even a network connected player.

Even if it was, there's no network media players that stream from RTEplayer. You need a computer.

What you are describing is not possible, it makes no sense.

Its a media hard-drive, all it does is play videos that are on its internal drive (or an external USB). It doesnt do anything else or support any kind of streaming, and even as far as media drives go it's very basic.

On the chance that you have a PS3, the PS3 now has RTE player installed on it!
