Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have some relatives who will be getting married later this year. They have considered doing so in Ireland. If they do there will be family coming over from South America, so they would want the venue to be a quite special.

So where have you worked that really impressed you and why?

I have to say I really love Tulfarris Hotel just outside of Blessington, for people coming from abroad I think it would be a fantastic location, it is close tot eh city, it is a beautiful modern hotel with plenty of rooms and a large golf course with a large lake on its grounds. Blessington obviously is one of the top locations for scenery in Ireland and certainly on the outskirts of Dublin, with the town of Blessinton being just down the road and upon tarvelling further up the mountains you would be brought to Valleymount and on to Ballyknockan and Hollywood.

Each of these areas I have visited quite a lot as we have many friends there and I have to say, Ballyknockan, or Ballyrockin as we call it, is one of the greatest smallest towns I have ever been in, right at the very top of the blessington lakes, overlooking them, you will find 2 little pubs full of musical influence and the nicest people you could come across, a huge thumbs up, especially for Americans Id say.

    Lots to choose from

    Castle Leslie http://www.castleleslie.com/
    Ballymagarvey Village http://www.ballymagarvey.ie/home/

I'm sure Mike has some nice castles from his side of the country

I shot in Durrow Castle Last year in May , the gardens were fantastic and varied (plus the cherry blossoms were in bloom which was a bonus)

If "wow factor" is what they want, I'd agree with Fajitas that Asford Castle is hard to beat. Lough Eske is also up there.

K Club and The Ritz are nice for different reasons.

For smaller sizes, like Keith I like Ballymagarvey village, and although I've never shot there, Village at Lyons is very nice.
