Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering is anyone else experiencing problems with an internet connection with UPC. They supposedly upgraded the service to a faster one recently but ever since then, we've had intermittent connection problems and I've heard we are not the only ones. Anyone else experienced this and if so, can anyone recommend a better cable/internet provider?

When I was upgraded I noticed similar issues, until I switched off my router (everything attached the UPC white box coming in) for a few minutes and powered it back on.

Assuming you have tried this, I would suggest emailing them. I find it easier to email them with a query than waiting on the phone for 20 mins.

They have been up and down a good bit over the last few days, so I think its a larger issue rather than an issue isolated to just one area.
But do get on to them, if they dont know that you are having problems, you may never get it fixed

Thanks, it doesn't indeed seem to be an isolated problem. Service fine today, but that's the way it goes, it could be great today but rubbish again tomorrow. Will log a complaint via email, and advise anyone else to do the same as you can always ask for an adjustment on the bill, dating back to the time you lodged your complaint to any such time that they provide a resolution to your complaint. Did it before with the cable when there were problems and were compensated for the interruption in service. Why pay for a service you are not getting properly?

    +1
Great idea! Too often I forget to do such things.

Since I was upgraded from 15 to 20mb my speed has been inconsistent. Never had a problem with 15mb but as soon as I was upgraded my speeds became worse and all over the place. What should be 2.5mb download can drop and stay as low as 500kb. Youtube is the worst with awful load times.

Tweaking the router solves this issue every now and again but I'm going to have to get onto the feckers as this upgrade has made things annoying (Especially since they sneakily raised the price too)
