Both of these sides are having brutal seasons, Chelsea should edge this but the way things are going for both sides I will watch and wait.

Chelsea were fortunate enough to get a replay after Everton outclassed them for most of the original tie, they also have a good record against Chelsea in recent years.

Im keeping well away from an outright winner here, wouldnt be surprised if it was a draw.

    Everton side...?

    Howard
    Neville Jags Distin Baines
    Coleman Arteta Fellaini Osman/Rodwell
    Cahill
    Becks

    Early team news

The Drog starts, and Yury on the bench

Both Luiz (not registered in time) and Torres are ineligible (cup tied)

For the Toffees, our nemesis Saha is injured as is Jack Rodwell

    Hope to see Ramires start.
Has being playing well lately . Also would like to see zhirkov at some stage, really think he will push for a regular starting place now he's fit.

Prediction: Close game but 2-1 Chelsea

Is it? I can see a few goals.

Chelsea very hit and miss at the moment, haven't scored in the last two games. Likewise, Jermaine Beckford playing upfront for Everton doesn't exactly inspire confidence of goals. I think this will be very tight.

Coleman is going to be a great player for Ireland, although his career isn't going to be too long-lived with the way he tears about the pitch!

Coleman is real quick beat cole in a foot race there

    Coleman should have shot.

    Theatrics from Drogba.

The Chelsea midfield is embarrassing today- Ramieres, mallows, Mikel are rubbish and lamps isn't doing it at the moment.

Everton look the brighter..........Chelsea clearly still struggling to get in gear.

Haha, awful from Terry. Drogs should have headed that though.

    Jt keep your balls down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,328 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Haha, awful from Terry. Drogs should have headed that though.

Seems to be pulling out of things at the minute since he went off injured, needs another while to run it off, or he wants to come off.

Great cross from Baines, thought Beckford could have done better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,328 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Drogba really just doesn't look bothered, he should have been busting a gut to get into a position there,

Instead he hangs around outside the box waiting for it to come to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Better there.
