    Hi guys,

Having a party somewhere (to be yet decided) in galway for my sisters birthday.
There will be about 40 people at the party. Does anyone know any good dj or band that could play for the party. She likes rock music!

Danger Danger (High Voltage) - Electric 6
    Buck Rogers - Feeder
Money Money Money - Abba (Rock Version)

Take on Me - Aha (Rock Version)
All these things that I have done - The Killers
    Uprising - Muse
    Thunderstruck - AC/DC
Best of You - Foo Fighters
Poker Face - Lady Gaga (Rock Version)
Show Me what I'm looking for - Carolina Liar
Total Eclipse of the Heart [Dan Band Version]
Killing in the Name [with Drop Kick Murphy's Intro]

    Tribute - Tenacious D
Sweet Dreams – Eurythmics (Rock Version)

Too Good To Be True - Muse Version
Wannabe - Spice Girls (Rock Version)
Mamma Mia - Abba (Rock Version)
Everybody - Back Street Boys [Rock Version]

What age will your sis be, or what age group will most of the partygoers be?

The Wilful are a fun covers band +1 for them. I know they are over at the Father Ted festival soon though, when is the event?

Do you want a covers band or will a DJ suit better. A DJ would be definitely cheaper than a cover's band. What do you consider reasonable?

If it's a lengthy party you'll probably need both anyway?

That'd be spendy! A good covers band would have a lot of material, and a good DJ should be able to keep the vibe and read/ change it as the night progresses.

But if you've an unlimited budget, get some go go dancers and fire artIsts too! :D

I play in a cover band that plays mostly rock music along the lines of ACDC, Led Zeppelin The Killers, Queens of The Stone Age etc. If you need more info drop me a PM.
