tinted/smoked Lacquer??

Looking for a bit of advice for a little project im working on.

Does the stuff even exist? im basically looking for a lacquer that would have a darkened tint to it but would still alow the colours behind to show through.

I know its a long shot, but thanks in advance

Ask jj05y over on DTD...his Teg is black but shines purple thanks to a Copper lacquer!


I assume it's paintwork you're after and not glass/lights tinting?

just like mine mines actually metalic gold honda do some crazy blacks

thinking of trying to use light tint to get the tint i want then lacquer over , just need to check the finish on light tint
