Hi I turn 20 in a few days and I want to buy a 1.6 Honda Integra. Not type r or anything just the standard 1.6. I was wondering what kind of price range the insurance would be in. Right now I'm driving a 1.4 Civic under my father's insurance as a named driver. I'm paying 107euro a month for the year so 1284euro. I got my full licence back around september I think and have no claims. If anybody knows what the tax would be as well I'd appreciate it. Thanks lads.

Tax is 445 for a year i think, you can check the rates on motortax.ie yourself as im to lazy:) No point asking how much insurance will cost you on here, just ring around and get the quotes yourself.

make sure to get an Irish Integra, insurance companies hate jap hondas, be very careful if you do go with a jap.

    Funny you should say that.
I bought a civic last year and put my then 18yr old son with learner permit on the insurance under my name.

Insurance was €1559 TPFT + WS cover
    Same policy this year
    same car
he passed his test in Oct.
    €1024

    Guess what..
Jap civic was the cheapest quote we got..Irish ones came out dearer... I have no idea as to why.
