I see Gibson is in a real win win situation here. If he plays well the haters will say 'sure it's only Crawley' and if he plays bad it's 'he can't even do it against Crawley'.

If he plays well he'll get credit. Stop fighting his cause before ayone suggests otherwise.

Good cross from him there too.

As a game though, I think it's as good as over now. Would have liked Crawley to at least reach half time.

Great ball from Gibson for the goal, have we found his hidden talent?

Great pass and great cross form Gibbo
    .......Im scared
why because a professional footballer at Man United isn't actually a non-league standard player as some seem to think

Super goal, when was the last time he scored!?

He scored away to Blackburn about 3 years ago I think

Ah feck, I was kinda hoping it would at least resemble a contest for the first half or so.

Wes Brown looks reminds me of a Mars Bar that's been left in the sun for a bit too long.

Jesus, you know you've got a crap team when Wes Brown scores against you. :pac:

iirc the commentator said he's scored against Juve in the CL

Back when they were daycent I'd assume.

Very surprised with Gibson even against non league opposition the weight on the ball has to be perfect and he's done it 3/4 times in ten minutes very impressive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,325 ✭✭✭sonic85

whats the score lads? how are crawley doing?

These balls in by Gibson are being put into pretty dangerous areas, doing alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

He can cross but he can't shoot for sh*t.

    Not appreciation thread worthy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Thats more like the Gibson we all know and love!!!!!!!

    Much better stuff from Obertan

    Crawley support is quite annoying.

The general consensus(?) is the complete opposite.:pac:

Yeah but could Gibson do it on a cold Tuesday night at Stoke?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

I like how Lindegaard's first instinct when he gets the bball into hand is to get play moving again. Good sign for a United keeper.

+1 on the support. Just cause they're playing at Old Trafford doesn't mean they're Chelsea.

    Crawley getting some decent possession

Crawley seeing a lot of the ball but no end product whatsoever.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

There's something inherently dislikeable about the Crawley manager's face.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Am I the only person that thinks the Crawley manager is a bit annoying? Bit of a camera whore.

    Edit: Snap flahavaj.

Who's on the bench for Utd tonight?

How embarrassing "glory glory Man Utd" being played at a game against non-league opposition. They should keep that for the "big games" when they have won.
