red light on desire hd

since yesterday i noticed a small red light on my desire hd located on the right part of the speaker

not on the left hand side which turns on when chargin

does anyone have any idea of what it means? cant find any info in the instructions

Is it only visible when you're in daylight? It might just be the proximity sensor.

i saw it in the dark last night and i saw it this morning in the light as well

its actually weaker in the daylight

now its gone but i couldnt figure out what is it due to

ye i didn't know what to search for on youtube though until LukeS_ mentioned it
