Surprisingly good game considering its SPL. Can see a couple of red cards today, especially with that animal Diouf on the pitch.

Every win against them is putting a big smile on my face ;)

Today's result was great anyway, but I enjoyed the away win in January a little bit more. Beating them on their home turf is something like the icing on the cake, I suppose :D

Twenty yards from goal Hooper took a pass from Commons on the left and with one touch knocked it past veteran defender David Weir, the contrast in pace described by Radio Scotland commentator David Begg as being "like an express train going by an old puffer". One-on-one with McGregor, he cracked a low shot through the Rangers keeper's legs to put his team ahead.
    David Begg on Hoopers first!

That was a good old fashioned thumping. Love it. Wish Hooper was left on though, would have loved it if he managed the hat trick... and what a goal by Commons! Diouf was a better signing they said...

Great win with a great performance. Hooper just looks like a model professional footballer, great attitude and a natural finisher. Samaras done really well today as well.

This is the Guardian scouting report (written by Steve Claridge) on Hooper nearly 2 years ago

Rubbish mate. Hooper scored 50 in two seasons in the Championship with a crap team(Scunthorpe). He outscored a certain Andy Carroll who played more games for Newcastle in the season they were promoted. Now hes worth 35 millFFS coz of a couple of goals in the prem. The EPL is so deluded its unreal. Hooper would be a very good premier league striker and Commons is quality.

Hooper has a better goal scoring ratio than Carroll in the Championship last season. Hooper playing with a struggling team & Carroll playing with the team that romped to the EPL. Carroll has a good early season in the EPL and all of a sudden he is worth tens of millions and you are dismissing Hooper. Take those EPL tinted specs off.

if hooper was that good he would have ended up in the best league in the world as opposed to one of the worst:rolleyes:
