Hopefully we won't be suffering from any overconfidence or fatigue from our midweek victory over Barcelona. If we can go through today without the need for a replay then I'd be very happy indeed, we have enough games this season as it is! I'd expect some players to be rested and here's what the guardian have predicted:
    Leyton-Orient-v-Arsenal-001.jpg

That team should be more than capable of doing the business, although I'm never overly enthused to see Squillaci starting. I'm going to predict that it will be1-3 with a few hairy moments at the back.

Did Wenger not say the other day that Djourou was going to start?

Can see it being a tough game with Denilson and Squilaci likely to start it could be a one of those shock FA cup wins for Orient!

Wenger's never lost to lower league opposition in the cup, if you have a sneaky feeling then put it on the draw!

Yeah draw @ 9/2 is looking mighty tempting tbh.

Just seen that Young Guns is saying that Miquel is going to start today. Don't like the sound of that, especially if it's with Squillachi.

Arsenal: Almunia; Sagna Miquel Squillaci Gibbs; Song Denilson; Bendtner Rosicky Arshavin; Chamakh.

OH jesus. I dont know much about Miguel but throwing him in there beside Squillaci is surely suicide.

Surprised to see Sagna start, although I suppose he had a rest during the week.

We need him there with Miquel and Squillachi at the back to be honest.

At least Song is in front of them providing some protection.

Happy enough with that so long as Song comes through unscathed. Miquel is in for some day based on the form of his partner... :(

McManaman is annoying me. Almost as much as Savage. That pitch looks fine. Foolbag.

Whoa I take that back about the pitch, its in shite! :o

    McManaman and Savage are gas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

Meh we can play long ball if we want with Chamakh and Saint Nick on the pitch. Might be best remove the pitch as a factor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,434 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

As much as I'd love it to happen, I think that team is far too strong for Orient, Chamakh will get at least 2 I'd say...

yeah they have them at every home game, when I was over they turned on the sprinklers 'accidentally' and they got soaked during their pre-match routine. Was a brilliant moment :D

Nearly an Almunlol there. They've started really well to be fair to them. Pressing really high.

damn, a fiver at 25-1 on Dawson first and when Almunia dropped it my heart jumped
