Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That tool should indeed work on reading any faults in your car(s).

Once they have OBD ports, your cars probably will have them.

It''ll throw up a fault code, you'll probably get a code book, which will tell

    you what the faults mean.

Have something similar handy little tool, cheap too. Good luck with it.

Possibly not. The standard only became official in Europe in 2001 on petrols and 2003 on diesels.

    I'd say...

will this work on a peugeot 306 1.4 petrol year 1998 YES, on a peugeot 806 2.0 hdi year 2000 NO and a vw polo 1.4 petrol year 1998YES.

The best diagnostic tool for Peugeot/Citroen is lexia 3 which is the dealer tool that covers everything....this needs an xp laptop to run on.
For the polo i'd say vag-com or vas 5054a (also these need an xp laptop to run)
Depends what your after...TBH fault finding really needs a good diagnostic tool that not along just reads the fault but can run live data..actuator tests..etc to pin point a particular that fault ......:)

From 98 onwards most cars have obd ports....Most code readers work on 98+ petrols and most 04+ diesels.
